Are there any wild life I should watch out for?
The mountains are not far from the lodge. However, in the 20 years we have been going up there we have never had a concern. Be smart and respectful in your surroundings. We can live in a symbiotic relationship with nature, animals, and bugs. Box elder bugs, lady bugs, mosquitos, and field mice are the most common things we deal with. I am always looking for ways to naturally keep the critters out of the house and away. Bug repellant will make your stay more enjoyable.
