Moose Spring Lodge is a magical place to be and we would love to share it with you. This lodge is located in beautiful Oxford, ID. It is nestled in a 7 acre plot surrounded by groves of trees, farm fields, and mountains. On the inside you will find 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a wood burning stove, a full kitchen with a spacious pantry, 2 living rooms, and a large bunk room. There are beds to sleep 54 and heaps more room to lay out air mattresses or cots if needed. Outside there is a covered patio with several picnic tables, a fire pit area, and acres to explore. It is also a great place to tent camp. This is an ideal place for families, youth groups, retreats, or reunions. Come gather and make lasting memories. We are so excited to host you!

How much is it to stay at this magical place?
This cost is only $600 a night with a minimum stay of 2 nights. There is a cleaning fee of $350 for laundry and deeper cleaning. Please help us keep our cost low by doing your part and cleaning up after yourself.
Is there power and water?
Yes, the lodge has off grid power. There are solar powered batteries and a backup generator that will automatically start if needed. There are flushable toilets and showers.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, pets are allowed. Please clean up after them and don't allow them destroy the property inside or out. Please keep animals off the beds.
Can we drink the water?
Yes, the water is drinkable and delicious. It comes from a personal spring for the lodge.
Is there wifi?
There is not wifi. You are welcome to bring your own if you would like. It is a lovely place to work remotely.
Are linens provided?
Yes, linens are provided for all beds. Due to the remote location all linens are stored in protective bags on top of each bed. Towels are provided in each bathroom.
What kind of wildlife is there?
The mountains are not far from the lodge and this provides a wonderful variety of wild life. You may see wild turkeys, cows, horses, deer, hummingbirds, eagles, falcons, lady bugs, box elders bugs, mosquitos, field mice, prairie dogs, squirrels, and many more. The name of Moose Spring Lodge was created by our family because each spring a cow moose and calf would return to the area. We encourage you to be smart and respectful of your surroundings. We do live in a symbiotic relationship with nature, animals, and bugs. Bug repellant will make your stay more enjoyable.
What is provided to cook with?
There is a fridge/freezer, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, and outdoor grill. There is also a rice cooker, crockpot, coffee maker, toaster, dutch ovens, pots and pans, hot dog roasters, and other essential kitchen items. Some basic spices are also provided.
What is the checkout process?
Check out time is 11:00 AM. Please plan your departure accordingly. Many times we have back to back groups coming to enjoy the space.
Can we ride atvs and dirt bikes on the property?
Yes, it is a favorite things to do. Please just stay off of the fields. There are many trails around that you can ride. One of our favorite rides is to the basin.
Can we shoot guns?
Yes, you can shoot guns towards the grove of trees. Please clean up your shells and use proper safety anytime handling a firearm.
What else is there do to around the lodge?
Downata Hotsprings is 20 mins away. Lava Hotsprings is 45 mins away. The nearest town is Preston, Idaho, 20 mins away. Twin Lakes is a great place to go for a day trip of fishing, paddleboarding, or swimming. A search of internet can also provide current events and activities in the area.
